About Us
Ponnammal Educational Trust was founded by Correspondent Mr G. Rajasekaran in the name of his grandmother Mrs. Ponnammal. A thorough research in and around Tenkasi and part of Tirunelveli District revealed the need for a school that will offer a Standard CBSE Education curriculum.
Under the able guidance and supervision of the Correspondent Mr. G. Rajasekaran SMA has prospered. The selfless effort and perseverance of the team has elevated the school to its present status. The Secretary and Principal Dr. K. Mageswari Rajasekaran Ph.D. and other Teaching and Non-Teaching staffs form the core group. They have been the driving force. Academic brilliance alone will not suffice in today’s world and hence the school lays emphasis on the holistic development of the students by encouraging participation in extracurricular activities and application of information technology and multimedia in the ‘Teaching – Learning process’.
